Was a slow evening on the 27th. He was the second deer I saw all night. Came in and hammered a scrape. Bristled his hair all up and snort wheezed at another smaller buck and started towards him, on his way over to the other deer he stepped into a opening about the size of a basketball and I let it fly! He ran 50 yds and I watched him fall!
